I went to school here in my intermediate years and suffered quite a bit of bullying. They also have an outdated system in which they punish the children with detention when their parents fail to write sick notes. With some students whose parents suffer from addiction and enforce abuse on children, it’s an extra, unneeded slap in the face. It only teaches them that they will be held accountable for incidents entirely out of their control. They also have a tendency to hire staff based on where teachers get their degrees instead of reputable teaching abilities. This is obviously a problem because you have some teachers that know what they’re doing and some that have nothing more to show than a university degree and a lack of accountability in their own mistakes. That sets a tremendous bad example for children, especially in that particular age group. I have absolutely no clue how they were able to achieve a distinguished school award. My personal experience at this school was the worst of them all. I can’t imagine that it’s improved, since it has only gotten just above two stars.
By far the worst school in Livermore they don’t care about the students they don’t take action when it comes to bullying you have to make an appointment in order to talk to the principal this secretary Kim Dujmovich is a joke rude careless disappointment for a school if you care about your child I do not recommend this school whatsoever my brother suffered bullying and I had to make an appointment so they could take care of the situation they intimidate the student it’s not a good school. I only speak for the staff that works there other than that some of the teachers are really good but the staff in the office no its not i really wish something could be done but of course nothing can be done they will only protect the office staff and point fingers at others to blame .
When my daughter attended East, it was a warm environment where the administration and teachers really cared about the kids.
