East has good and bad things like any other high school. East pushes you and makes you ready for college. I highly recommend it if you are willing to work hard and would like to get into a good college. If you are not very hard working or do not really care and get stressed easily then east would not be a great choice for you. East has many teachers that are very good and will help you when you need you ask for it. There are many different clubs to join and you can also form you own if you would like to. If you are looking for sports East is not really good at sports. But there are a few we are decent at.
East chapel hill may be ranked well in academic but besides that is a horrible school. The administration is bad, the stress is unberible, they might be getting you ready for college but at east, your whole life is HW. They give way to much HW and they are all total jerks. Only a couple good teachers that I have had that were good for me. The testing and overall feel for the school is bad. If you are looking at high schools i do not recommend it at all.
The teachers are very college oriented, trying their best to convince the students that that’s their best option. The stress levels are sky high, and the administration, especially Eileen Tully, run a school in a way that is unhealthy the students. She doesn’t do what is necessary to establish a safe place for learning
