I go to ENYFA. Overall the school is a great school, it honestly has less than 10 flaws, which would include the cafeteria and auditorium being combined, i call it the cafitourium, some classes being outside in the trailers, the possibility of not getting a locker, the smell of the bathrooms sometimes, and the screaming security gaurd that tells you to get to class. You should come to this school, the teachers truly do care about us students, whether they show it through tough love or not, and the school’s quote (“a public school with a private school feel”) and name ( East New York Family Academy) really does match to the feel of the school because iy feels like my family… Mr yard (the principal) is like our father, Ms. Newman (the secretary) is like our step mother that we tolerate for the sake of the family, Mr. Yearwood (the assistant principal) is like the funny uncle while Mr. Hornic (the other assistant principal) is the strict one who cracks terrible jokes from time to time, etc. You should really consider going to this school, and fast, because there’s like 300 something kids here (never 400 and up) so that means it’ll be harder to get in.
this is a horrible school yet it is an ok school at the same time.The bad part is that the bad kids are ghetto mean and disrespectful to teachers and/or adults.They act like their grown by wearing super tight pants and see through shirts like some kind of stripper.The only good thing about it is the principal Mr.Yard he is very tall and ttooo nice for this school. So of course the high schoolers do anything to manipulate him. lastly one of the popular girls named Jamie is acting like shes 21 with her followers behind her acting like they rule this school!Plus one of them have too much weave in her hair and extensions since the beginning of the school year. JUST SAYING!
Went to this school and graduated. They made us organize our own prom and pay for graduation pictures and yearbooks. still never got them and i started college this year. if i could give it zero stars i would tbh
