They have most great and kind teachers and one of them is sudesh chawla that she was a Indian teacher that she was so kind and helpful and every single students loves to her to be there teacher, and I was one one those students.
They have very big space for students and very nice big oval.
If you are new to Australia and you are in adelaide you should take your childres to this primary school because if your children doesn’t know how to speak English in this school they also work very well on English., and the first time that I came to this school I didn’t knew English at all , then after two years I’m full at my English and I speak English very well.
East Torrens is the best primary school in Adelaide.
:))
I was warned this is the feral school, on this side of town. Didn’t believe it after meeting the lovely deputy principal. Would have filled the councelling role much better.
We had a really lovely teacher for reception. One of the J.P. teachers was very kind, and supportive. The other not very nice, at all.
After they got rid of the music program/teacher, things went down hill, quickly.
The school had a fantastic school counsellor, back in the beginning. Leaving the task to an untrained science teacher seemed odd.
The teacher who organised children’s uni and Oliphant science was lovely.
The bike ed, and teach the kids to ride, wheels Wednesday program was a good idea.
The sports programs were a bonus.
One working toilet for 150 girl student’s, in 2021. Not very good at all.
Don’t remember primary schools having alcohol around the school, where children can see. During school hours, and school pick up.
Worst school I’ve ever dealt with. Have been forced to take up home schooling. My child didn’t feel safe, supported, or protected, there.
Seemed like a good school when my child was in reception. And when they still had the music teacher.
Except for one teacher swearing in front of the children.
I didn’t appreciate being verbally abused by a couple of the teachers either.
