My 2 boys have been to a couple of music schools in the past and it was exhausting getting them to engage in their lessons. The teachers at ESSM are so kind, patient and engaging with the kids that my older daughter is now wanting to learn the drums. Highly recommended!
I like ESSM. My kids are learing music from ESSM. They improved every term. Teachers are so kunds and humble, also friendly.

My young son has just started to learn the violin here and is loving it. From my first email contact to the first lesson, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The violin teacher is friendly, approachable and professional – my son responds to her very well. Would not hesitate to recommend Eastern Suburbs School of Music for anyone interested in learning an instrument.
My son had a number of years of lessons with ESSM when he took up violin in high school. His teacher was very supportive and flexible and he now has developed a life-long love of music.
Two of our children have been taught by the Eastern Suburbs School of Music for 10 years between them. Our oldest learned guitar and his teacher was nothing but encouraging and an excellent teacher right throughout his experience into VCE. Our youngest is a percussionist through school and wanted to get more lessons in drum kit with ESSM – his progress is just amazing! Well done to both teachers, Rhys and Nick – you have managed to teach them so much while maintaining a great attitude that they look forward to their lesson every week. Fully recommended A++
