Do not send your kids here. (Especially after the 5th grade). I attended from K-8, and it is not a good school on 3 levels. The first (and most important) being Academics.
The quality of Academic instruction at this school after the 5th grade is very poor. Students are not taught Math or Science. In Math class, we were assigned homework problems and the next day it was graded and we were given the answers. The teacher did not teach us how to do any of the problems. I thought I was bad at math, until I got to high school and had GREAT math teachers who caused me to love the subject. In Science, students do not do work corresponding to their grade level. There are three sets of textbooks: The 6th, 7th, and 8th grade books. Every student in the 6-8th classroom does the same Science book each year. The teacher attempts to correct for this by giving the 6th graders a 20 point curve on tests, and the 7th graders a 10 point curve. However, it is possible that your 8th grader will be learning “Science” from a 6th grade textbook. Whereas if they were in a public middle school, they would have the opportunity to even take high school science classes such as Biology for credit. The one good thing about Academics here are the History and English programs. Students do write many essays and book reports, as well as completing Vocabulary textbooks throughout 9th grade. This has helped develop my writing skills.

Social/ Spiritual- This school does not really have a “Christian” atmosphere. While kids are taught about the bible, the behavior of the children here is not any different compared to the behavior of kids in public schools. There is frequent swearing and every year there are one or two fights. One child in the 1-2 grade classroom was caught lifting up girls skirts in class to look under them. Nothing was done to him.

I am very satisfied with the education provided by this school. My daughter is learning in a Christian environment. I already have three years taking my daughter to this school and teachers are excellent. Those who are looking for a good education for their children I invite you to visit to Eastwood SDA junior academy any time.AlsoThey are accepting the Ed-choice program.
