Our daughter attended Eden Prairie Montessori North in both the infant room and toddler room. Eden Prairie Montessori North was a wonderful place for her to spend her days. Many of her teachers have decades of experience in early childhood care and have been at the center for many years. Our daughter bonded with her teachers and it was such a joy to see her respond to them so positively. They have created an environment that is warm and caring and we knew it was the right place for our baby almost immediately upon visiting. We were very satisfied with the quality of care our daughter received. We always received frequent updates throughout the day through their Brightwheel app that made us feel connected to our daughter. In the toddler room, our daughter learned songs, got to play outside as much as the weather allowed, and played with puzzles and other toys that helped her develop fine motor skills. Her teachers also worked with her to help her start learning colors, shapes, and numbers from a very early age. I loved the Montessori approach that emphasizes allowing children to do everything they can for themselves and my daughter learned how to drink from a real cup, sit on a real chair, and pick up her own toys. I cannot recommend Eden Prairie Montessori North highly enough and will always be thankful to Ms. Rani, Ms. Deb, Ms. Anne, and all the other teachers who cared for my daughter with so much love and kindness.
Our boys were treated so well. Eden Prairie Montessori was an extension of our family and we only stepped away once our kids were entering school age. The teachers have huge hearts and love for the children. An important thing for us was the teachers have been there for years and Shonali the owner, as I write this has been for 32 yrs. She runs an amazing center and along with staff, are truly passionate about teaching children the building blocks and steppingstones to be prepared to enter school. The facility is clean, organized, and set up for a wonderful learning experience. Our children always brought home crafts and on Mother’s day and Fathers day special craft gifts which I display to this day. On top of having a fun environment, there are field trips! You will not be disappointed. Thank you again to all the staff. We appreciate you!
Two of my children have attended this school (2015 – 2019). I appreciate the focus on practical and life skill learning activities, letting the children have interests and learn through play/fun activities. They have plenty of time for exercise and time outside, even in winter. The pre-school classes work individually with children based on their development levels. They also help develop skills for school beyond academic topics – politeness, standing in line, helping keep the classroom tidy, working with others, etc. Our elementary school teachers have commented on this more than once.

Update: I now have a 3rd child enrolled! (starting 2021) The Nido classrom (infants) was not one my older children were in before. Wonderful experience with the teachers and other staff on the second time around. There are many familiar faces!
