My younger siblings attend this school. My little sister is in 4th grade and my brother is in 7th grade. They often share with me about their classes and teachers as well as classmates. Recently my little brother attended a field trip to what he thought was going to be a tour of the governors round house. However, to his surprise as well as mine he and his classmates were told they were going to march on the streets/sidewalks near and around the roundhouse. They were given signs that stated “Don’t Deport My Dad”, “Fair Pay For Everyone”, while they chanted “Zapata Vive La lucha sigue”, “Si Pancho Villa viviera que friega les pusiera”, “Were not one hundred were a thousand”, and “El Pueblo unido jamás será vencido”. Hearing this I cannot express how upset I felt!! My mother had no clue of what his field trip consisted of! My little brother even pulled out a piece of paper showing us the chants!! Shame On this school and in the program Natural Helpers for using students as propaganda and for assuming that their parents are illegal immigrants!!! This is just one of the many issues with this school aside from bulling and unprofessionalism of some teachers and students. This is such a shame and comes to prove how poorly the Santa Fe public schools operate.
Overall a horrible school. I’m leaving this year to high school and have been going here since 2nd grade.

All throughout my elementary years I confronted the teachers and the principal about bullying and they did absolutely nothing about it.

The teachers are just straight up rude, especially the 8th grade English teacher. And even though most people at the school are fluent in Spanish, it is a requirement for the 8th graders to take the class. Not as an extra curricular class. I’ve had multiple experiences when the 8th grade English teacher would not let me use the restroom, and made me embarrass myself in front of a class before because I took something out of my bad and thought it was my phone. It in fact was not my phone, but a feminine hygiene product.
The only teachers that have ever been good at this school are the music teachers, they are beyond kind.
Those teachers are the only part I will miss about this school.

The school is also from pre-k to 8th, so smaller children will hear curse words and slurs from the older kids often.

It is my professional opinion my recommendations to the world school systems of the Republic and for what we stand this is a great facility for real for the Academy Awards great teachers great faculty and great test scores. The musical group name U2 would like to get free tickets to his 360 degree World Tour in any country you desire for your outstanding performances and ethics and standards as a token of his appreciation and is devoted love to Her Majesty the Queen of England. Keep up the great work.
