You can clearly see, from the reviews below that these reviews are sports/team driven and not academic. ET is all about the politics and their sports teams, especially football. There are a bunch of children attending ET that need actual GUIDANCE and not a pep rally. My daughter never even saw the guidance counselor the entire time she was there, despite her continuing to fail classes year after year. She was finally called in and told she was going to another school next year (Silverado) but failed to ever talk to me about it. I called the school up and told them that I was pulling my daughter out of this school myself and kept her out the last few weeks of class so she would no longer be subjected to their ignorance. She is now at Silverado, and has a 3.5-4.0 GPA. At ET? 1.4 GPA. The district needs to seriously audit their schools, and remove the staff/teachers that are clearly not doing their job.
SO hard to get a hold of anyone in the front office or anyone in administration for that matter. You get bounced around everywhere by the woman in the front office. You get voicemails for every extension you call or are transferred to. I asked to speak to the Principal and her assistant, Mrs. Maskell was rude and short with me. Then she stated that it was not the Principal I wanted to speak with but with the Dean of Students. She transferred me and guess what? I got a voicemail. I immediately called Mrs. Maskell back and she did not answer the phone. How convenient. And for the record, IT WAS the Principal who I wanted to speak with! If you have any concerns or questions in regards to your child, good luck getting to speak with anyone. I felt that no one cared. Sad.
