We have sold up in our town and taken our daughter out of (supposed to be) one of the best state schools in Staffordshire where she was bullied and bitterly unhappy and moved to Stourbridge especially so she could go to this school. The children are kind and the teachers are caring. It’s a small friendly school where my daughter will thrive. We were so pleased to find Elmfield Rudolf Steiner School. It’s a real find and we are so relieved our daughter going there now
Elmfield is an amazing school my son enjoyed his time here immensely.Be very wary of the one star reviews which fail to elaborate on why they have left these.
A wonderful school that allows children to be children, develops their potential and encourages individuality and self-confidence. Children receive a good, broad education and both the curriculum and timetabling are structured around the developmental needs of the age group. The ethos of the school is about Community – nurturing, sharing, respecting and caring for everyone regardless of age, ability, social background, creed or colour. We got our daughter back when she joined Elmfield; she has grown into the most wonderful young woman over the years and she dreads the day when she will have to leave. Our son loves Elmfield for very different reasons to his big sister! The Steiner system is perhaps not for everyone, but I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone willing to take the leap of faith into a gentle, holistic and innovative approach to education. You won’t regret it!
We received such a warm welcome at this place during our summer residential. The school teachers we met were so caring, and involved in our process. The conversations were much more broad spanning than the topics they were teaching. Very insightful people. Can’t wait to go back. 🙂
An amazing and inspirational alternative education for children. How all schools should be.
