Negligent to safety of students. Not accountable. Doesn’t care when a student nearly drowns during one of their classes due to the teacher and the “lifeguard” lacking proper supervision and were negligent in following proper safety protocols. They had no clue my daughter was drowning until I frantically began banging on the glass screaming, praying I could get someone’s attention. Another parent, NOT a staff member noticed me and began pointing to my daughter and finally getting the teachers attention to pull my daughter to safety. Teacher and “lifeguard” are still employed and able to put another child at risk, the liability of keeping that teacher employed after the negligence I witnessed is shameful, the risk this teacher brings to other children and their safety is beyond concerning. Camera’s were conveniently “not working” when the incident occurred. Manager tried to tell me the lifeguard knew she was in the water and it was only for 3 seconds!?! I saw the entire situation and my daughter was in the pool drowning for way longer than that and the lifeguard had no clue she was in the water! I have called corporate 3 times and left 3 voicemails over the 3 days since the incident occurred and NOBODY has returned my phone call and no one from the Flower Mound location has tried to call or reached out to check on my daughter or our family this week. All I can take away from the lack of concern and communication that has come from this organization tells me they don’t care and I am just a monthly number they auto draft from.

This summer, my 3 year old daughter jumped into our pool without her floaty on. I was on the other side of the pool and quickly started running towards her when she saved herself! Emler taught her the “humpty dumpty” where you jump in, turn around, and grab the wall. She was even climbing out of the pool on her own when I approached her. The skills she has learned at Emler have not only been fun and enjoyable, but life saving! The staff are friendly and helpful and we plan to continue lessons there.
