We have been members of WELS Lutheran churches around the country having been in the service over a 21 year period and we LOVE Emmanuel Lutheran. We are now retired from the service and have been members at Emmanuel for 13 years now. We are so appreciative of the 4 pastors who teach God’s word so sincerely and with Love in Their hearts for all of God’s sheep. Our kids grew up in the school and were immersed in the love of God’s word also. We could not be happier.
My wife and I have been attending Emmanuel Lutheran for over 6 years. We were looking for Bible based church in Tempe area to regulary attend. We chose Emmanual Lutheran because the people are very friendly and the Pastors are highly educated. I have brought many friends to the Holiday services of Easter and Christmas. We would highly recommend Emmanuel Lutheran Church for any Christian that would like to hear and learn the word of God straight from the Bible.
Many of the teachers were very rude to both me and my father. The lack of diversity truly shines. During my time here I knew only 3 black students. My father was unwelcome and disrespected by most of the patrons. On multiple occasions my father would drop me off at school and would wave to the staff. They didnt wave back 90% of the time. If you are open minded whatsoever when it comes to your faith this is not a good school for your child.
