Rude reception teaching assistant! I went to this potential primary school couple of weeks ago, arranged the meeting with a member of staff. Having never been there before, I didn’t know how to get in. Turns out the main door into the building was walking through a playground. I stood there whilst the kids were all playing and saw a couple of adults. I was smiling, waving, trying to get the attention of the closest adult. She looked up and saw me, but didn’t respond. It wasn’t until one of the kids tapped her leg and pointed to me, did she then look up. Instead of smiling or asking what I wanted, she rolled her eyes and then shouted something at me. When I didn’t move (couldn’t hear what she said), she rolled her eyes again and walked over to the gate saying “you just need to press this button on here Miss”. She looked irritated, didn’t ask for my name and then let me in. Not a good first impression and I definitely wouldn’t want my son around her. Shame really, as the lady that showed me round the school and the Head were lovely.
