My 5 year old’s first day of school, we waited at her bus stop. Her bus came. She didn’t get off. We waited because it was the second bus that had come and we were optomistic that there was a third bus coming.
20 minutes later, still no third bus.
We called the school. The assistant principal said that the bus driver let Harleigh off at a different stop because she was following her friends off the bus and seemed to know what she was doing but wasn’t sure what stop she got off at and thought that information would answer my question. We found her crying wandering around the apartment complex parking lot looking for us 30 minutes after she was dropped off.
He still drops her off late when he wants (up to 25 minutes-except today he was 55 minutes late because in the middle of the city he got stuck in the mud).
He drops her off up to 30 minutes early when he wants to while we’re still at work and we find her crying and beating on our door trying to get in because she is alone and afraid.
She has been bullied by older kids, and taught filthy anatomy curse words by the older kids.
I complained to the assistant principal and she was supposed to ensure that my 5 year old would sit directly behind the bus driver, but the bus driver doesn’t always make sure the seat is open for her even though it has been assigned.
If I could get off any earlier than 4:30 PM, I would just pick her up from school myself.

The bus drivers? will endangering your kid’s life and when you tried to contact the school no one picks up the phone so you can’t even notify the school. Guess I’m calling the district now.
