The only reason the school doesn’t get five stars is because it’s quite possibly like all of the rest of the schools across this country and part of the problem.
When you enter a school to pick up your child or sign them out, you have to deal with administrators behind a desk.

These are either sweet little old ladies or people so incredibly sarcastic and rude you wonder why they don’t already have a job at the DMV.

I’ve been there the past two days for award Ceremonies for my grandchildren. Both days the attitudes at the front desk were terrible except of course for the sweet little old lady.

I wanted to say, you do realize you’re dealing with adults…when the lady snatched purple tickets off the desk I’d just been instructed to fill out and hand over. With the aggressive snatch came the ripping up of the tickets basically in my face and the look of attitude to go with it. Apparently we don’t need those purple tickets today
but I did tell the lady thank you very much I enjoyed that.

After two days in a row I don’t think I’ll go back without my video camera on. People act entirely different when they know they’re being watched.
I’m picking up grandchildren and seeing that nothing has changed regarding administrative attitudes since I graduated.
Shame on the school for not knowing or allowing such behavior in a place for LITTLE kids. I hope they hire more sweet little old ladies SOON

I love the brand new school and the staff as well. Mrs.Harris was an amazing teacher to my son this year and I just wanted to say thanks . Mr.Farmer and Mrs.Blanchard are always welcoming parents in with open arms and they make me feel welcome at all times. I love the school Eugene Sires elementary Go STINGRAY!!!

Unprepared(I think they needed a whole extra year to complete the building process, still looks like a construction site) , Horrible set up (parking) , extremely slow car rider lane, some rude staff….Missing oakbrook elementary.
