I spoke with some employees who left and they said it was due to the coorporate influence and it was clear this new company cared more about making money than the kids well being and academics.
All of the good teachers are gone, there was no consistency in classrooms, zero STEAM that the website so highly boasts about either. My 4 year old said she was bored because they just color all day. My 2 year old was getting bitten daily most likely due to the fact that the 2 year olds were at a 10:1 ratio which is ridiculously high.
We’ve pulled our kids from here recently, but have still been in contact with others who tried to stick it out but now they are all leaving too. My 2 year old is now in a 7:1 ratio and my 4 year old gets stimulated with various science experiments, music, and art.
Such a shame to see all of this happen to a place that was once great. Save your money and keep your kids happy by going elsewhere.
Drop off is so EASY. She doesn’t even cry. She feels so comfortable with her teachers and the other kids that she either snuggles into her teacher’s arms with a smile or crawls to one of her friends to play.
I was also nervous about shifting her to school food. I was home-making organic purees until she was 9 months. They walked me through the menu and cooking practices. Again, they made me feel heard instead of making me feel overbearing. They answered my questions and worked with me to slowly introduce the school foods.
Now we are moving out of state, and I’m genuinely sad she won’t have these teachers and friends in her life anymore. They’ve been an integral part of our lives as new parents, and I’m grateful we found such a loving space to bring our daughter.
I would definitely recommend.
The center was of excellent quality, but in the first year they lost two (great) directors. Academics were nonexistent. Turnover was incredibly high, and 14 months later they had lost most of their good staff. There are still some quality teachers, but the fill-ins are not up to the level you would expect for this price point.
Current director appears overwhelmed. We gave them the benefit of the doubt post-pandemic but finally decided our child was better elsewhere. Over half of her class has left since.
