I have been here since 7th grade, pretty solid school. I am currently in 9th grade. I love almost all of the teachers, the staff/administration is amazing, and the school cop: Officer Johnny, is a ton of fun to be around (if you’re on his good side). The school lunch is ok (lets be honest school food is never any good though) and they serve several options each day including: Pizza, Nachos, Subway Sandwiches, Chicken/Beef/Corn dog sandwiches, and a daily item. They also have vending machines and a little snack shack in the cafeteria. The only true issue I would have to say is in 8th grade I got bullied and it took a while to fix it, but it got resolved. Personally my favorite staff members are: Mr. Cutler (Principal), Mr. Zawalski (music teacher), Mrs. Root (7th and 8th grade history teacher), Mr. Zumbrunnen (Drama teacher), Mr. Dahl (9th grade history teacher), and Mrs. Newton (foods and nutrition, and cte teacher). I also like Lawnie the janitor, he is super funny. Synopsis: This is a great school, I would definitely go here again and I am excited to finish off 9th grade with a bang. PS: A lot of preppy kids go here, but it is still very diverse.
If you’re white, privileged and live in a rich household, you’ll fit right in with the other “hip” Abercrombie and Fitch “slingin'” white kids who go here. If you’re not the latter, don’t go here, you’ll feel awful about yourself. My dark hair and skin stood out between the blonde, pale majority. The white kids will look at you weird, like you’re going to attempt to pick-pocket them. The teachers look at you like you’re a delinquent, even if you’re a 4.0 honors student trying your best. Some of the staff were nice, but over all, I wouldn’t recommend this school to minorities, as they’ll stand out and become an easy target.
I went to this place and it sucked. Nicknamed “EverGhetto” it really lives up to its name. After going to this school I have a few things to say. The only good thing about this school is the language. There is Spanish inversion which I took and learned a bunch of Spanish. I didn’t learn anything else and now am struggling in highshool. Thanks a lot evergreen. Also the McGriddles were undercooked
