I have had a great experience with the school I love that they are quick to communicate if there are any issues. Even with closing the school due to a large percentage of staff and children having illnesses, I believe they made the right decision to protect the rest of the students and staff, my children have come home sick often unfortunately since starting school because so many “parents” send their kids to school sick. Which is very difficult for my family, because we do have a child who is immune compromised and usually ends up hospitalized. Is it more difficult? yes, but I would rather stress about a few days trying to figure out how to work around my schedule to accommodate having them home healthy, instead of work my schedule around hospital stays or sick kids at home, that is definitely more important. Many complain about the “short notice”, but the school notified on the first day of the school week, because that was when they found out so many called out sick. How are they supposed to know that would happen over the weekend? Common sense…not that difficult to comprehend why we parents got short notice.

Horrible school for children on IEP’s. They accepted my child and never even read his IEP from preschool. Principal made it very difficult on him and myself EVERY. SINGLE. DAY! She only allowed him to attend 3 hours a day. Would call me to pick him up right after dropping him off. She would tell me how horrible he did then I would hear otherwise from the EA that was with him that day. I spoke to main director on several occasions who informed me her actions were not ok. It was illegal for them to accept my child and not have nor place the proper accommodations.
