I really wish I could give ‘ZERO” stars!! This school is anything but Christian!! This schools should not have the word “FAITH” associated with it!! This school lacks everything and I mean everything that a Christian school should display!!
How could a school be discriminatory amongst children!! So, many BLACK parents have had to pull their children out of this school for being discriminated upon because they have “Locs” in their hair!!! Hair grown from the scalp out!! No extension of any kind!!
These kids had to be interviewed before being accepted into this school!! How is it they get accepted into the school looking the same way they did when they were interviewed, only to be told two weeks into the school year that they have to either cut their hair or……….RIGHT, OR…..if you’re reading this then you already know!!
These children aren’t being disrespectful nor are they problems kids!! Matter of fact they’re the opposite!! Smart and well mannered just to name a few of their Characteristics!!
This school should really get the attention they’re seeking!!! From current parents and possible future parents that’s considering this school!! The Church needs to get involved because this is a bad look for the church!! And before you say the church has nothing to do with the school, it has everything to do with!!
Also, don’t say the school policy has been in place since the school doors open…..if the policy was such an important factor why was it not considered during the interview process!! Why wait until you get the MONEY, accept enrollment, allow the kids to start the school year only to tell them they have to cut their hair!!
And every day that child show up to school they are either harassed by the faculty or placed in ISS with a derogatory report!! No “F’s” given about the child’s mental state and the same “F” was given as the child cried and ask what did I do wrong!!! What’s even worst is the child has been attending the school for over three years with the same hair style and this year they decided they would make life for that child a living HELL!!!
From the teachers to the principal not ONE “F” WAS GIVEN!!
I hope ALL future parents and current parents consider questioning the core and value of this school before allowing your child to attend!!
The irony of a school discriminating against hair when the very present of a “WHITE” GOD IS HUNG IN THE OFFICE WITH HAIR FLOWING DOWN HIS SHOULDERS! And if this is a Christian school that teaches about GOD then surely you know the Bible states that Daniel and John describes his hair to be “WHITE like WOOL”!!!

IF THE UNITED STATED MILITARY CAN REGULATE CHANGES TO THEIR POLICY WHEN IT COMES TO “HAIR” THEN TELL ME WHY CANT A CHRISTIAN SCHOOL RE-EVALUATE THEIR OLD POLCIY SO THAT NO ONE IS LEFT FEELING DISCRIMINATED UPON, ESPECIALLY A CHILD THAT SEEKS HIGHER EDUCATION!!

Hands down this school exceeds in the areas that matter the most. From academic standards to the way I’ve witnessed them show appreciation towards their teachers. I can’t say enough good things about FCS. The staff, leadership and community of Faith Christian School do a fine job demonstrating the love of God. As a woman of African descent, I’ve come across many who fail to demonstrate love towards those who look like me. But, not once have I felt excluded or like an outsider. At FCS, our family is loved and embraced. Our daughter is excited to go to school and has many friends. As a parent, we are able to communicate with her teacher easily. We feel like we are always well informed about what she is learning. At Faith Christian School, the values we teach at home are reinforced. Where other schools have missed the mark, we can say Faith Christian school has done well in preserving a certain standard that is needed these days. In just a matter of months our daughter’s academic growth has exceeded expectations. We highly recommend Faith to any family that is looking for a safe, loving, academically strong place for their children to thrive. Without a doubt, we recommend Faith Christian School.
