I would not put your kids in here it is a terrible school they say they care about your mental health and everything but they don’t at all . Having a older sister who went here and suffered all the way through this school from year 7 to year 11 and the amount of time she did in sixth form from being bullied all the way through given no support and came out suffering even worse with mental health issues sixth form is not worth it either she didn’t know until the day before she was meant to start what she was doing where she was going or who she would be with I would highly recommend either Penryn or or Truro schools such as penair if you care for your child’s well-being and mental health
What a great school. There have been a few rocky years, but we now have a super headteacher and of course all the amazing teachers that have always taught there.
Both of my children are benefitting from a great education along with the care and support of a fantastic group of teachers.
I wouldn’t even give them 1 star, DO NOT send your child here unless you want them to leave with extreme anxiety and mental health problems. They do not have the childrens best interests at heart or their wellbeing as a priority, the ONLY priority they have is making sure you all fit in the same box and how you look. If you look different your treated different. You can NEVER speak to anyone at school, they never answer the phones or emails. It’s been the worse 2 years of our life dealing with this pathetic excuse of a school.
Extremely bad school, literally terrible,
They dont care about students wellbeing and throw you into isolation/reset ( a freezing cold room where you aren’t allowed to get up from your seat or talk )
Students like me aren’t allowed to use the toilet in lesson, imagine a girl was on her period and the terrible teachers in this school said no, then she would have to deal with the embarrassment of bleeding in class.
There’s a sick illness going around and I had it today, nobody let me go to the toilet.
Imagine a person with autism, ADHD etc and you couldn’t help doing something ( eg fidget, say something or do something ) and the teachers would still give you punishment for something you can’t control. The food is bland, little options for students with allergies or being vegetarian or vegan.
Throwing out negatives, detentions and suspensions like it’s nothing, I’ve been suspended 5+ times and I’m in year 7.
You can ask anyone that isn’t a nerd in the school and they will say that the school is horrible.
And yes I’m gonna leave my name so you lot can ( have a chat ) with me 🙂
From alfie duffield
overall a really strict school cares more for how kids dress than how they learn will give out detentions and suspensions for anything they can would rather pay for unnecessary vape detectors and tvs round the school but won’t fix the heating in the winter we never had any of these problems a couple years ago it’s ridiculous how much the school itself has change and isn’t for the good
