It’s not good that the education is lacking and there is too much pressure. There are so many rules you have to follow. It’s not as good as other schools. All subjects are combined; for example, algebra should be a separate subject, but it’s not. It’s awful. Some people are really rude, and they don’t understand.
To whoever is mad over FEPS because the prices are too high or things are broken, just relax. FEPS was my childhood up until now (Grade 6). The school has always had something special about it. I know sometimes our AC doesn’t work for like three days in a row, but who cares? My friends here are really nice, and it’s easy to make friends, even if you’re new. Yes, the prices of tuition, books, notebooks, etc. are expensive, but if you can’t afford it, here’s an idea: JUST. SWITCH. SCHOOLS. It’s that simple; no complaining whatsoever. Ever since the roof and the volleyball court were installed, it’s been really nice.

Now to the people complaining about bad rules or absurd people: it’s a school, of course there will be people like that. Just make other friends. I don’t really get the complaints about the rules, but it’s not that hard for us in Grade 6.

Now to my childhood at the Al Azra campus, which is now Al Alfiah Filipino Private School, or AFPS. That campus was so nice. The canteen was big, and sure, teachers were strict, but they were fun. Intramurals were great back then because those of us below Grade 5 got to stay because, of course, it was girls only from Grade 5 and above at Shahba, and vice versa.

Now, the quality of life in Grade 6 in Halwan is really great (in my honest opinion). There are a lot of assignments and projects every day or every other day, and an exam every month, but ever since I’ve learned to manage my time, it’s been a lot easier. Sure, the assignments are long, but anything that involves digital stuff is easier and quicker for me. Just one suggestion to improve the school: a suggestion box. It would be really nice to see what people would suggest.

Now to my subjects: I really like how the pace is not too fast yet not too slow, although I’m a bit slow, so yeah. But anyway, I really like the subjects and how they’re taught. The only trouble I have is with Filipino subject since I’m not that good at Tagalog.

My only complaint about FEPS or SPEA themselves is why are boys and girls separated

I’ve been a student at FEPS since 2016, and this is my review. A year ago, the toilets, bidets, and sinks in the bathrooms were not working properly. However, since the start of this school year, I’ve noticed that the bathroom quality has improved. The sports area is not bad; this year, they added a basketball and volleyball court on campus. They also have a separate gymnasium for basketball and volleyball and a football field. The canteen is quite small, and I think they should definitely add more food options. The school clinic is quite nice, and the school nurse is great. Regarding the teachers and staff, some teachers can be kind but occasionally become rude and angry for no reason. However, the newly hired teachers this year have been very kind so far. The quality of education really depends on your teacher, as some simply present a PowerPoint and tell you to read, while others provide thorough explanations. Most of the students are kind.
The worst place to go; I would not recommend it because many teachers discriminate based on ethnicity and promote failure. They will do anything to lower your grades and ensure you do not achieve anything. DO NOT ENROLL.
This is outrageous and ridiculous! There are too many weird and random rules to obey, and some don’t even make sense. These types of commands and rules don’t make sense to any other school in the UAE. In my opinion, they give too much homework on the first day of school, and some students are treated unfairly because of their ethnicity, skin color, or disability. Some are even treated like teachers’ pets. The teachers are too strict, the rules are outrageous, and it’s too hot outside because there’s no roof.

The school is too expensive! The canteen food is overpriced—six pounds for a donut is rubbish! On the first day of school, you have to wear random clothes chosen by the school—why not just let us wear our own clothes? This is outrageous, ridiculous, stereotypical, and specific.

They are also more likely to get mad at black students. Don’t even get me started on the classrooms and bathrooms! The classroom walls and floors are filthy, there’s no toilet paper, the locks are broken, and they get mad if you check something outside during dismissal. They tell you to go to a specific classroom with other students and wait until you’re called.

The tuition fees, expenses, and canteen food are too expensive, and the rules are too strict. They need to communicate normally instead of making mad looks and sounds, screaming, and shouting. I highly do not recommend enrolling in this school; you will be shocked.

We can’t even leave a review without giving at least one star. I would give zero stars if I could, but I officially do not mean the one star I have to give.

Children tell their parents that during dismissal, they have to line up and wait for all the bus riders to leave. Then, they have to wait in a hot classroom with many people, smelly sweat, and dirty tables, chairs, walls, and floors. The school never repaints or repairs anything; it always looks the same.

Teachers give students too much homework, assignments, and projects every single day. They make them write and do so many difficult activities. Students need a break! This is not fun, funny, or cool. I know students need discipline, but this is too much.

The air conditioner and ceiling fan don’t even work properly. The bathroom water is scorching hot and unfiltered, with no soap or tissues

Good school and high standards.
