Firbank is an excellent private school. My daughter goes to Firbank and loves going to school and learning something new every day. She has an individual learning plan which is set among the ethos of caring & well being. Exceeds my high expectations in every aspect of school life!
Took a wonderful tour of this campus. Seems to have a great history of education and development for the young through the teenage years. Academics seems to be above average and fairly challenging to the students. Well worth considering. . . . .
For a “fancy” school it’s not very progressive. The skip bins reserved for rubbish are always full of recyclables. At a recent function they served fois gras, which is banned in many countries. I’m sure the students wouldn’t like the way it’s produced. Staff retainment is poor also. The usual story, hard working staff on low wages and heads of departments who quite frankly don’t work hard, on large salaries.
Such ambience! Just a beautiful physical environment tended with care by Graeme and his team. Lush lawns and beautiful garden beds a Milton specialty. What a place to learn in!! The old Irish guy opinionated but friendly. Nice food too.
My daughter never wants to leave when it’s time to go home. She has made good friends and her development has been incredible since the beginning of the year to now (ELC3).
