Edit I removed my granddaughter 6 weeks before the end of second grade for bullying by not only students but some staff as well. She had a 41 in math & was informed that it was all her fault by her teacher mind you I the gaurdian was Never notified by her teacher per the new principals policy. After moving her she was behind in all subjects but was brought up to class level & finished on AB Honor Roll and her smile reached her eyes again. Pay attention no matter what school your child attends to their mental health trust your instincts. Wish our experience would have continued to be as positive as Kindergarten was.
My granddaughter had her kindergarten year with FOCA, what an amazing experience. They have high expectations for the children in their learning & behavior then they give them the tools to reach those expectations. Quality learning, healthy safe environment.
When the Covid started FOCA got busy & got a plan in place quickly, each class became a virtual class with face to face online education. Not easy keeping kindergarten children engaged & on track but Mrs Jenkins did it with grace & the patience of a saint.
Looking forward to 1st grade realizing there will be challenges but knowing that FOCA is ready to take those on.
My son has attended FOCA since day one. He has excelled in every area academically, spiritually and physically. FOCA cares about each of their students total wellbeing. With their small class room size and their student to teacher ratio, it make educating the students much easier than in a larger school. Students can learn and teachers can teach. My son is now in High School at FOCA and is involved in Band, Basketball, Baseball, and Cross-Country. FOCA is hands down the very best primary and secondary school in the Permian Basin. You will not be disappointed for investing in this school for your child’s education.
Great church I love first Odessa to me this is my home church stopped going for awhile but gonna start going again and Im definitely gonna go here tomorrow for Sunday church the only This was a little disappointed that I went to the website and couldnt find the times that service starts so gonna have to guess but all in all still worth it to go early ! But maybe a website with times would be great thanks and so excited to go back to my home church !
