We studied at this school together with my husband, we were really very excited because they talked to us about a “GREAT” language school on a university campus, this is not quite true, if it is on a university campus but classrooms and facilities of FLS are very far from the real campus (it’s like you’re in the area of ??the rejected jeje). When it was less than we expected (the course is really basic, nothing exceptional) with my husband we asked for the money we did not study (we pay 6 months and only support 2; when you enter they explain that you have the right to request a refund before of 50% of the course completed), the process seemed to be easy but really NOT! we find that the administrative part of FLS is disastrous, our process was assumed by Veronica Perez and she will never answer your email, if you call it is never at your desk, anyway! They tell you that before 60 days you will have your money, we have already been 80 days and we have sent email to President jeje and we still do not have our money.
The good. The teachers are lovely, well prepared; Although it is true that they are not well paid and do not have technological resources you can see the passion and dedication with which they prepare their classes.
FLS used to be a much better school until they changed the curriculum to a really poorly written one! The company is really cheap and they try to save at the expense or the quality of education the students get! Also, teachers and admins are paid very poorly! Everyone is overworked and underpaid! Teachers are qualified but get paid a very low hourly rate, and they never get raises, ever! They also dont get health insurance, and the amount of preparation and grading required doesnt match the amount of prep pay teachers receive! So for the teachers that really care about their students, that hourly rate really goes down to minimum wage if you count all the hours spent answering students questions, preparing lessons, grading, and completing the monthly grade sheets required! Step up your game FLS! Be fair to your administration team, teachers, and stop lying to students about the poor quality of education they will be receiving with your curriculum! Shame on the owners for reducing education to a corrupt business! You can make profit and provide good quality education if you really want to!
