I recently had the opportunity to receive flying lessons from Bryan Mora at the Flying Academy, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Bryan’s expertise and passion for flying are immediately evident from the moment you meet him. His extensive knowledge of aviation is matched only by his ability to impart this knowledge in an engaging and easily understandable manner.

What sets Bryan apart is his personalized approach to instruction. He takes the time to understand his students’ learning styles and tailors his teaching methods accordingly. This bespoke approach not only made the learning process more enjoyable but also significantly more effective. Under Bryan’s guidance, I felt my skills and confidence as a pilot increase exponentially with each lesson.

Safety is clearly Bryan’s top priority. He meticulously ensures that every aspect of the flight preparation and execution is understood and properly followed. His attention to detail in this regard is reassuring, especially for a novice pilot. It’s evident that he genuinely cares about his students’ safety and progress.

Moreover, Bryan’s patience and supportive nature make him an ideal instructor for students at any level. He encourages questions and takes the time to address any concerns, ensuring that you are completely comfortable and confident in your abilities. His positive attitude and encouraging words have a way of instilling confidence, even in the most challenging aspects of learning to fly.

In summary, Bryan Mora is an exceptional flying instructor who combines expertise, a tailored teaching approach, an unwavering commitment to safety, and a genuinely supportive nature. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to embark on or further their journey in aviation. His ability to transform students into competent, confident pilots is truly remarkable.

My experience with Flying Academy is unique. At first glance, it was another flight school. When I took my 100-hour first time solo cross country for time building I realized I was in good hands. The admission process, the transportation from/to the airport, the welcoming on the first day, the personal treatment, the facilities, the accommodation, the instructors, the staff – everything was satisfying and professional, and you don’t get it in every flying school. For me, the most important thing was aircraft maintenance. In time building, it’s crucial when you spend so many hours on the same aircraft, and it’s even better when you have more than one branch to count on in such a long trip (from west coast to east coast and back). I flew the Cessna 172 and Piper Arrow 28R (which I liked most). The rent was a bit high, but it was fair and it was worth it! My next 100-hour trip is going to be in Flying Academy, not because it’s the best (nothing is perfect), but because it gained my trust.
