I was a student at Forest City for 6 years. From kindergarten to 5th grade, and I can tell you that it is a school unlike any other. The teachers are exceptional, an so have been the various principals that have been there throughout the 6 years I spent there. I was fortunate enough to be there when Mr. Tony Arena was principal, and I can honestly tell you that he was the best! He addressed the needs of the students and made multiple clubs and extracurricular activities for students to join.
I am sorry, but for those parents who say that Forest City is the worst school ever: Your children were probably those kids who never played any attention and got bad grades, so they blamed it in the teachers.
Such Ignorance.
I am now a 7th grader, but adore Forest City.
I am a student here. The teachers are terrible!! I was bullied when I first got here. The teachers were told and their response was Now girls, thats not very nice is it?! Some girls were cursing and HITTING other students and nothing was done. This one little girl was in a special class (proboly for ADHD or some other thing that slows your learning) her teacher was CONSTANTLY PUTTING HER HANDS ON HER!!!!!!!! Im pretty sure that those types of teachers must be certified to be in that type of classroom, and in order to get certified you must show that you can be patient with your students. But this teacher was the complete opposite, if that little girl acted up she was yanked by the arm or pushed. The staff is sooooo rude and incompetent.
I’m a student and I get bullied there and no one does nothing except say to not do that the clinic teacher/nurse she is horrible I get sick really easily and she is rude to me so that’s why I don’t want to the clinic anymore cause I’m scared she will yell at me the old nurse that was there was so so so nice and all the new nurse does is eat every second of the day and check her phone then yell at the students.The teachers all of them are nice and kind except like 5
