Had a rather unfortunate experience yesterday with these buses all piling up at the school. I was routed along with them.
For some reason the road directly in front of the school is listed as a place a person can drive through at all times of the day without issue (Beware of bus wolf packs swarming). As I followed the buses around the corner, I was starting to see from behind the trees they were now all lining up/stacking up and came together in formation behind me like they were military or swat SUV’s before I could respond. I could not back out. I tried turning around just to be thwarted by a bus #71 yelling out his window at me like I had just thrown a balled up school newspaper at the back of his head. I told him “I am not one of the kids on your bus”. The tail end of his bus was about 1-1.5 ft still in my way. I was yelled at to turn BACK around and park near the curb. #71’s excuse for not moving was that there were kids already on the bus but they were already all still seated and no new ones were getting on yet.
Moving a ft out of my way would have saved me from the PTSD that flooded my head from a near death experience I had with the lite rail train back in 2013 of which I am very lucky to have survived, but have been in therapy for awhile now. 100% of the time I’ve ever had a bad experience with a business, I have received an apology from the owner. This is the first time I have ever gotten one from a school (Owner?) stating I was in the wrong and then promptly throwing his own transportation situation, under a bus?
Yesterday my kindergartener and 1st grader was let out on the side of the road even tho I was at the scheduled bus stop way before the time waiting on my children. I went directly to Lino lakes elementary to report what happen and the principal stated he’ll call me back when he find out the reason why my kids were let out on the side of the road. The reason was because their short staff and it was a substitute bus driver. So I called transportation myself and told Donna what happen she then told me she’ll have to place me on a hold to see where the bus driver opened her doors. Long story short I was connected to John Gray and he was going on to say that they can’t add a stop ?????? What? I had to explain to him AGAIN that I want to make a formal complaint because the problem is they don’t listen.. ima reasonable person but it’s no excuse you can give me that make it okay to let a kindergartener and 1st grader off anywhere the bus driver please (ESPECIALLY MY KIDS).
Children are constantly missing school because they are “ sick and rotating staff“ employees that do drive are flying through parking lots bullying children, watches a bus driver stand by as a child was being physically abused by multiple other children , bus has been lay for drop off multiple times and then shows up early and pulls off for pick up. Was involved in an accident due to wreck less driving on the the bus drivers part earlier in their year. And when I just called to bring this to the woman’s attention she said I’m not arguing with you I KNOW my child rides bus 39 as well and hung up which tells me it was the bus driver herself because her child is the only staff whose child rides that bus
