There are many improvements which are needed to make the school the best it can possably be but overall it is a good school. The staff are great and the head teacher (MR Baraclough) is a very respectful man who has realy terned the school around and made it the best it can be. The only thing that pulls the schools reputation down are the students who say it is a bad school because they are allways getting into trubble for smocking or destroying things in the school but them getting punished shows the school has a very tight set of rules. The lerning resonse / IR is a very good example of a school which cares for their students. They provide a lerning are which is sutable for children with any tipe of dicibility from autisum to dyslexia (which i suffer from). The IR realy helped me when i was a student and i wouldnt have made it to were i am now without the amazing staff and unique students. I realy do love the school and everything it provides.

I have a friend who goes here and, having seen it’s reports, systems and staff, I view the school as generally loathsome.

In spite of some recent positive changes, there are still many unsatisfied and clearly distressed and upset students, I for one cannot do anything about the awful ways in which the school has handled it’s students, especially KS4, and despise it’s withstanding opposition to choice and freedom of choice.
