We chose this school solely based on its fine arts and just for the experience. I can say that we have experienced and moving on. Not only do I feel the teachers are not caring but I feel as though they allow the student to sort of bully one another. My daughter has been treated differently by girl students and teachers. They are mean girls. I have addressed the counselor, teachers, and assistant principal myself on several occasions in regards to students not keeping their hands to themselves, but it just seems to continue. The teachers are not attentive of what’s going on and seems they are only there to get a check. My personal opinion its not enough diversity and teachers can be sort of biased. just been a lot of disappointment and stress the last two school years.
FWAFA IS JUST OKAY

It’s a much better experience than public education but there are still remnants of institutionalization (standardized testing, uniforms, worksheets-worksheets). There is unfair balance of focus & attention to Performing Arts more than Visual Arts. Visual art students are in the shadows but they deserve more opportunities to showcase their talents too. My child doesn’t feel like the school values or acknowledges their talents. They work hard on art projects but no one brings attention to their work unless they’re doing a school tour. The school can do more to not make the Visual Art students look like an afterthought. ??

I think it is highly disrespectful to rude to the trans community. Making a decisions on not allowing trans people not to be part of Sgt you have no right to say such things and do such things. On the behave of you having children, what if one of them were trans how would you , as a parent for your child not allowed to be part of something because of who they are. You are discussing re-think about your chooses. You are a grown adult you should know better. I am very disappointed in you actions. Do better.
