Don’t go to this school, seriously find any other school. Too many issues to even get into on a review. Most importantly the staff (instructors and school leadership included) are very unprofessional and will not help you get ahead in your career. You will be teaching yourself to get through the program.

I attended the massage therapy program for 6 weeks before I decided I had to find a new program, that’s how bad it was. For example we were given the new edition 7 Salvo textbook….the schoolwork was based off the edition 5 Salvo textbook….TWO EDITIONS PRIOR TO WHAT WE WERE GIVEN. This caused us students to get lower grades because the book didn’t match the school work. Students did complain to the instructors about this and nothing was done about it. This is just one example of the many issues with the school. My class started with 8 and after I left they were down to 4.

What’s funny is 2 staff members, including the Dean of Education Ms. Gabbi, mentioned that they were aware of issues with the massage therapy program. Also the fact that the Campus President Tina Turk is posting positive, high star reviews on Google to offset our truthful reviews. Good to see Fortis sends their staff through to post fake reviews to try to cover the truth. Learn from my mistake and don’t go to this school, you’ll save yourself a lot of time and money.

As an instructor at Fortis Institute in Towson, I would like to share my perspective on our exceptional massage program. One of the unique features of our program is the opportunity for our students to gain hands-on experience by providing massages to clients from the public. This practical component allows our students to apply their knowledge and skills in a real-world setting, fostering their professional development and preparing them for successful careers in the massage therapy field! Come schedule a massage with our students today!
My goddaughter and I recently went on a tour with Mr. Ray from admissions for the massage therapy program. The tour was insightful, and Mr. Ray was very informative about the program’s offerings. My goddaughter is eager to start soon and is hoping to begin in May or July if her financial aid comes through promptly. Overall, it was a positive experience, and we are looking forward to potentially starting this exciting journey together.
