We’re switching back to Goldfish Swim School! Foss Swim School FAILS to recognize the importance of offering Swim Makeup classes. When my 5 year old child is sick with a common cold, such as a runny nose, cough, fever, etc., I find it very unfair for Foss Swim School to just offer a Family Swim session instead of a Swim Makeup class. The staff tried explaining to me that a Family Swim session is a great way for my child to show / practice the swim strokes she learned in class; however, let’s be realistic… If we were to attend a Family Swim session, my 3 kids would just want to splash around and climb on my husband’s back the entire time. Goodbye Foss. Your business is going to suffer because all other swim schools offers Swim Makeup classes . Lastly, the staff is terrible at answering their phones and never return voicemails.
Lessons were just OK. My child literally did the same thing every week and they grade your kid as a pass or fail before the weeks are even over so the last 3 weeks don’t matter if you child makes improvements?! I was a professional swimmer so those are my references to compare. I’ll be taking my child to independent lessons from now on. The final straw that is making us not come back is my son got ring worm from here I mean it doesn’t surprise me when the place is 100 degrees year round. I would be really carious how often each of those locker room stalls are individually wiped down and the desensitize. The only positive was the instructor was very nice.
