As a former FCA student, I have gotten lunch detentions for things I didn’t do. If someone goes up to the dean and tells them a lie about something you didn’t do, they won’t hear you out at all.Plus, the teachers get mad at you for no reason. I could literally get up to get a tissue and I would get yelled at.There should be no reason why I am getting yelled because of sanitary issues.You can only go to the bathroom 3 times in a class per quarter (9 weeks) or after lunch. As a female, its feels embarrassing to have to tell the teacher that your having some female issues just to use the bathroom.Also, when we try to go to the bathroom, during the 5 minute span, they are already occupied.We have to use a pass and if we don’t have one or lost it then we can’t go.Most teachers don’t know how to teach the curriculum which is the reason why most students are failing.Even with the early tutoring, some kids can’t get there on time whether its being far away or traffic.There is terrible communication and when you “talk back to the teacher” you get in trouble even if your standing up for yourself.I think that the TEACHERS should be less racist to the students. For example, I was in class and the teacher kept calling this hispanic student every other hispanic name before she could even say his name.I just think that this school needs to do better.
