My experience in this school was a lot better for me than some others, partially because the others had bad tempers. With controlling my temper, I learned quite a lot and my teachers were extremely fun. However, some are not, compared to the others. The school is trying to figure itself out, but that is okay. As long as it figures itself out faster, for they said the staff would not leave as they did last year, but the staff is still having slight issue with their classes. The students are the real issue, for most can not seem to mature and are resorting to fourth grade jokes. They are unbearably loud and I, who is an eighth grader like them, IS HAVING HER EARS RING FROM THEIR “JOKES” OF MAKING LOUD, UNBEARABLE NOISES. Overall, I rate this a 3/5 because though the school is actually pretty good, some students and teachers need to do a review of themselves and question why they’re teaching or what they’re doing with their lives.
As the tales of this facility continue, there is some truth, but also some lies. As far as my recent year goes, I honestly can’t say I have had a bad time. I have some of the most dependable friends and the most amazing teachers. I have had some great times with all my friends and some funny moments with my teachers. Unfortunately, that is where the good of the situation ends. If student environment was a class, at least 83% of the students would fail. The native language among students: Cursing. Food-wise: the food is really decent, though you are rarely served anything under-cooked or raw. During my 8th grade year, multiple incidents bloomed under the rocky surface. As far as a teacher getting arrested for sexual harassment and a backpack being lit on fire because the kid was “gay”, is as bad as it will get. All in all, the school is great and has amazing teachers, but just WATCH OUT with your surroundings.
I don’t have any complaints about the school. My daughter attended 9th grade during 2016/17 and still still attending and all I can say is I am grateful for this school. The principal, assistant principal and guidance counselor contact me to answer any questions or concerns I have. They take bullying very serious and take action at the time. Regarding education, is being a turnover due the fact is a new school. But get the same grading as the schools in the area, means the principal and staff are taking care all situations. I love the fact is a small school and know the students personally. My daughter love the schedule. I love the uniform policy. They are working to have more high school activities. They have a sports team, hoping they have a homecoming and more activities.
