I was a student at Franklin L Williams Middle School 7 and i graduated this year but I do want to say is that this is the best middle school in jersey city anyone will ever find. It has a lot of facilities and a lot of programs and all of the teachers treat as you are there family members and they will never let you down. The teachers are so kind and helpful that they will let you have extra time to finish a test and they will let you to even come to the classroom at recess time so they can help you or you can submit your remaining projects and they language arts teachers like god in this school they will help you so much to get an average of a B+ but the principals are so trusted that they share their school problems with the students so they can help them and I wish this school was my high school too.
When I was there, we had amazing programs such as 21st Century and a program associated with the Liberty Science Center. The teachers here are amazing for the most part (I love you, Mrs. Ulivella!!!). They teachers here are very kind and the principal (Mr. Rivera) is someone your child can go to if he or she is in need. We honestly need more schools like this.
Also, there are many other programs even though some were removed. There is also space to play basketball, baseball, and to run track in the back. There is also space to garden and to just have a good time all around. The school is beautiful.
I’m currently in my last year in this school and I can tell you that I wish there was a high school part of the school. The teachers that I have are extremely helpful and if you want help, or need to finish homework related things, the teachers will gladly help you during lunch, after school, and before school. The teachers and the principals are highly interactive with the students. There are many programs in the school that students can enter. The school doesn’t feel much like a school but more like an expansive learning community.
