My husband and I are thrilled to have found such an awesome school in Boca Raton. The French curriculum is very strong. They start world history and world geography in PK! They have the IB program starting in PK which is an incredible addition to an already amazing program.
My family speaks only English so we knew the only way our children would learn a language and actually hold on to it would be through an immersion program. They do part of the day in French and the other part in English.
The French curriculum actually teaches math a bit differently so it’s great that the kids are exposed to both. The teachers at FAIS noticed right away that my daughter was ahead in reading and math, they tested her and adjusted her work immediately. The classes are small enough so the children get lots of individual attention.
The women that run the school- Amelie and Celine are truly a dream team. These two ladies with BIG hearts, open minds, a love for what they do and lots of hard work have made this school a true gem.
For parents looking at schools- my husband and I are blessed to be fortunate enough to be able to send our children to any private school. We also moved here from Manhattan and have pretty high expectations – we love this little French school.
