We are parents of a boy with Tourette syndrome who has attended Futures Academy for about a year. Prior to Futures, our son had missed so much academic time that he was significantly behind his grade level. Emotionally speaking, he had completely lost trust in the education system. Futures turned this situation around in very little time and completely restored our son’s confidence in school and in the process of learning. Futures welcomed and accepted him and the challenges that come with Tourette’s in a way that we hadn’t previously experienced. The school made the necessary accommodations to support him without ever making a big deal of it. Their focus was to help our son succeed, enjoy the learning process again, regain self-confidence, and be academically challenged. It has been amazing to see teachers who had never experienced teaching a kid with Tourette’s handle his condition without prejudice and with kindness! Parents looking for teachers who are extremely knowledgeable on the subjects they teach, but that also have the ability to connect with their students and show true interest in their progress, Futures is the place. In addition, we felt completely supported by the entire staff, without any exclusion. They are all a pleasure to work with, they proactively reach out to us to discuss ideas on how to better support our son, and they are always available and willing to address our ideas, and most importantly, listen to our son. When we look back at the academic and emotional progress our son has made in less than a full school year, it is far beyond what we dreamed of. Futures’ teachers and staff have made all the difference!

I enrolled my child with Futures Academy for coaching in science. Futures Academy works extremely well for my daughter as the teachers incorporate practical sessions with experiments to explain the concepts to her and she seems to be enjoying the learning!:)
I would highly recommend them for their fact based and practical approach to teaching which is strongly backed by their excellent teaching staff, a great management team and a very ambient and well equipped campus for an enriched learning experience!

Personal attention works wonders. My son has been here 3 years and has become an independent student. Each day he looks up his assignments and plans out his day. He has become friends with his teachers since we try to carry over teachers year to year. Having the continuity and 1 on 1 attention has helped him overcome many of his challenges. They are great about working with you if there is anything your child is struggling with.
