I was nervous because my child was different and was having trouble at his old school. But the Principal’s first words were “everyone who attends Fusion is different in their own way and we nurture those differences”. My son, JT was very hesitant about attending Fusion, but being there has really opened him up and he loved his experience at Fusion. He has made so many friends and joined clubs and loves Fusion so much, he gets there 2 to 3 hours early. I love that the teachers provide a review of what he does every single day, so if there’s a problem we can talk about it. The teachers are very responsive when I have questions or comments. When I learned that my son was diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum, all of the staff worked together to modify his class work to fit how his brain processes. At his former school, he went from being told that he could not do much academically to discussing all types of things in history, math, English and he even gave a presentation before his class and joined some of the clubs. The staff does a great job of fostering bonding with the other students – my son has been attended a dance, a prom and a few other outside events with the other Fusion schools and was so excited at the other kids he met. He always felt special at Fusion. You can tell from this review that I cannot say enough great things about Fusion and how wonderful the staff is and how much they nurture the students. This is not a paid ad but a review from a mother’s very grateful heart. The warmth and love my son has been shown ar Fusion I will always remember.

My son has been going to Fusion Academy in Woodland Hills for summer tutoring in preparation for starting high school. The past 1 1/2 years of virtual learning has been hard. He needs to be in person, and does best when he’s getting individual help. The teachers and staff have been amazing! My son was initially very resistant, but after the first day admitted he liked it. He even asked for more math! The teachers have really connected with him and tailor their teaching to how he learns best. They send me daily, detailed reports of what they worked on that day, what my son did well with, what his challenges were, and even how he was emotionally during class. The staff are friendly, flexible, helpful, and extremely responsive. Communication is great. I feel like everyone is a team supporting my child. His skills in math, reading comprehension, writing, and note-taking have all improved greatly. Signing him up for summer tutoring at Fusion was the best decision we could have made to get our son ready to start 9th grade with confidence!

My son attended Fusion Academy Warner Center 2017-2019. He always struggled with school and learning and when he arrived to Fusion it was evident that his teachers understood him and knew how to address his learning style. My experience as a parent was that they communicated with me in a way no other school ever had. I was well aware of my sons progress and in the loop all the time. The administrators were also wonderful: available, communicative and responsive. Nick loved most of his classes and was more motivated than ever. Now that he has graduated he goes back from time to time to visit his old teachers. He has good friends from Fusion that he keeps in touch with too. If I had a magic wand I would make Fusion available for more kids. My only criticism is the cost. However, you get what you pay for!!!! A great experience.
