I moved back to Florida to help my. mom, and had to enroll my daughter in this school. She only went there for a little over a month or two. She had been bullied from the first day she got there. I called the school and reported the students who was bullying her. And spoke to the receptionist. I could hear her typing and asking me to define bullying. I told her my daughter only had attended schools in another state. And where we came from bullying is bullying. Nothing was done to help my child. She was being bullied at the bus stop and school. My daughter would come home sad everyday. She had never came home like that in all the time she had been enrolled in school. She was in the 5th grade at this time. So I decided to come back to the state we came from so she can be happy. And I thought it was because she missed her friends from her old school. But it wasn’t because she really is a social butterfly. I will never put my daughter in this school or any other florida school. So she is back in her old school and is as happy as a clam. I got my happy daughter back.

My kids have been in a few different school, Garden Grove by far is the best by far. Not only education wise, but safety outranks all schools. This day and age parents worry about attacks on campus. Let me just say I don’t worry about strangers getting onto the campus. I will always worry when my kids are out of my hands, but I worry significantly less.
Also they have made great measures to reduce bullying such as uniforms, assigned seating at lunch, (no one is made to feel an outcast, by sitting alone) and many other rules as well to help insure the zero tolerance for any form of bullying. All children are given the opportunity for free breakfast and lunch. This gives students equal opportunity to receive healthy meal options not just low income students. This also means no kid gets teased for being low income. All in all they provide a safe environment for students which is impressive, but makes learning easier and more enjoyable for students!

My kids have both gone here and love it. My daughter from K-5 and my son 3rd thru 5th. Love the staff and have had all excellent teachers.
