Back when my disabled daughter used to go here, she was struggling with getting her work done and was acting out. I was constantly pulled into conferences and lectured about how terrible of a mother I was and how I was not disciplining her enough, etc. I would be up really late with my daughter just trying to get her homework done. I told one of her teachers that she seems to have dyslexia because she was reading backwards and the teacher had no idea what dyslexia was. I eventually took her to a psychiatrist and she was diagnosed with ADHD and we got her on medication. She did better after that but I have never forgotten how awfully I was treated. We have since moved and let me tell you the difference in schools is like night and day. Her new school is super supportive and understanding.
Doesn’t the school receive funding for each child so why are there only being one tablet or laptop being giving one per household the schools receive extra funding if your child is in a 504 plan or IEP plan where is all the funding going if each child cannot receive a laptop or tablet when they received more than enough money for each child that attends that’s cool
My child’s desk faced the wall for 2 weeks. I went to his classroom, or would not have know. The school gave me no notice of this humiliation. We had just moved to the area, and my child was, ‘talking’, I should have filed suit for damages. Keep a close eye on your children at this location.
