I had two children enrolled and was able to experience elementary school, middle school and high school. I also taught here for five years. Gaston Christian School is excellent in every way. The atmosphere is very family-like and very safe. As a parent I was well-informed of my children’s progress and was able to view many activities through photos that are often updated on the website. As a teacher I was encouraged to be creative and engaging and I was very well supported by the administration, even when my lessons were messy or noisy (physics and chemistry). My family loved being a part of the GCS family and I highly recommend it to anyone.
Gaston Christian School has been a great fit for my daughter’s first year of high school. She has enough school work to keep her challenged academically and it has not put too much strain on her ability to enjoy other things in her life such as time with family, friends, sports, and travel. The school’s leadership has also been helpful for 1-on-1 support when needed and I’m excited to see great things in my daughter’s spiritual growth and academic success!
Gaston Christian has been a blessing to our daughter for 10 years, including pre-school years. Student to teacher ratio is awesome and allows for guidance and challenges when needed. Any issues are dealt with swiftly and appropriately and God is at the core of it all!!! Five more years to go…..wow!
