Enrolling my child at GEMS United Indian School has been one of the best decisions for their education. The faculty and staff are incredibly dedicated, fostering a nurturing environment that encourages both academic and personal growth. The teachers demonstrate a genuine passion for education, going above and beyond to ensure each student’s success.
Horrible experience. They provide students with low-quality products for high prices and do not maintain the school properly. They fail to address bullying and neglect hygiene standards. Some students at UIS can be disrespectful and ill-mannered. Additionally, some teachers lack effective teaching methods and inappropriately involve themselves in students’ private lives. The school also exhibits sexist behavior, with some teachers displaying favoritism towards girls and making derogatory remarks towards boys. Saying “stop behaving like boys do” to reprimand a girl perpetuates harmful gender stereotypes.
As a parent, my experience with Gems United Indian School has been nothing short of disappointing. Despite its promising exterior and advertised academic excellence, the reality of the school’s environment and management leaves much to be desired.

Firstly, the quality of education is not up to par. The curriculum is outdated, and there seems to be a lack of innovation in teaching methods. Many teachers appear disinterested and unmotivated, which directly affects student engagement and learning. It feels as though the school is more focused on maintaining appearances rather than genuinely fostering a love for learning in students.

Additionally, some teachers display concerning biases, favoring girl students and making inappropriate and hurtful comments towards boys. This sexist behavior, along with the frequent threats to cancel extracurricular activities, creates a negative and unfair learning environment.

The school’s administration is another major issue. Communication is poor, and it is incredibly difficult to get clear, timely information about important matters such as school policies, events, and student progress. When issues are raised, whether academic or behavioral, the administration’s response is often dismissive and lacks follow-through, leaving parents feeling unheard and frustrated.

Extracurricular activities, which are crucial for a well-rounded education, are also severely lacking. The range of activities offered is limited, and the quality of the programs available is substandard. There is a clear lack of investment in developing students’ interests and talents outside the classroom. The promised “Phoenix Classroom” remains non-functional, further highlighting the disparity between promises and reality.

Moreover, the school’s facilities, despite being touted as state-of-the-art, are poorly maintained. Classrooms and common areas are often dirty and in disrepair, creating an unpleasant and sometimes unsafe environment for students. The inadequate bathroom facilities, including insufficient break times, lack of toilet paper, and the forced sharing of facilities between different age groups, raise serious hygiene and safety concerns.

To make matters worse, there are significant concerns regarding the school’s handling of bullying and behavioral issues. Reports of bullying are not taken seriously, and there is little to no support for students who are victims. This, coupled with the favoritism displayed by some teachers towards specific students, creates a toxic environment where many students do not feel safe, supported, or valued for their individuality.

Overall, Gems United Indian School has failed to live up to its promises. The combination of substandard education, poor administration, inadequate extracurricular activities, questionable hygiene standards, and

As a student, not a parent, I joined this school in my senior year. I can say the management, like others have mentioned in reviews, is honestly horrible. They are their own breed. Who changes the duration of periods daily? Who gives out information at night saying, “Oh, right, you can do this by the way!”? Avoid this school. The cold truth is, everyone who is sent away from other schools ends up here. You will probably find the most failures here in 11th grade going to 12th, etc. If you are just looking at elementary school for your child, that’s fine. But please, for your own sake, change to somewhere else if your child takes their studies seriously and wants to score well. Otherwise, just keep them in this school because they’ll be very happy to have your child repeat grades again and again. Oh, did I mention almost all of our teachers left as we were promoted to 12th grade? This means these teachers are new to us. They don’t know us, our behavior, etc. Honestly, it’s careless. They take loads of money from us in sneaky ways. The tiniest things have the GEMS tax (Dubai’s government would love these people). They essentially scam you in some ways and then give teachers less. I have talked to teachers, and whether you believe me or not, I can tell you that most find this place hectic and overloaded with work. No wonder the better teachers all left at similar times! It’s honestly a nightmare for both parties.
The teachers told all the students that they shouldn’t use social media or have friend groups. They instructed them to delete all their games and social media accounts. Now, I don’t trust this school.
Horrible experience!

I wanted my child’s 2nd-grade completion certificate. The response was to pay outstanding 3rd-grade fees? Seriously, does that make any sense?

What are the criteria to enroll in class 11 when my ward is pursuing class 10 in the ICSE curriculum in India?
