The worst school ever. The quality of education is very poor. The primary focus is only on cosmetics; they don’t have a talented and dedicated teaching staff. Only the security staff is reasonable.
(I posted this before but deleted it and posted it on an account with a fake name.) I hate this school SO much, and I would know, I’m a student here. I’ve been in this school for eight years and seen no improvements. People (like Ms. Elizabeth) make students want to leave the school. Ms. Elizabeth might as well be the strictest teacher to walk on Earth’s surface. She can see you enjoying your life, minding your own business, then shout something like, “Go throw the gum in the trash, now!” (during break). And some staff, whose names I don’t know, are the nosiest people EVER. They could say something like, “Go back, leave the washroom,” during break. Oh, and the school itself? Great look and all, but horrible teachers and staff. If you’re going to have a British curriculum, at least get British people, you know? Or at least get people that speak in a British accent, that’s the least you could do. Also, don’t come up to me in school if you know me.
Very strict and inadequate school. Firstly, teachers treat students poorly, and we only cover one topic per subject daily. The toilets are unsanitary, and the janitorial staff is ineffective. Disruptive students face no consequences, which contradicts the claim that Shwaifat International School deserves favorable reviews and expels problematic students annually or biannually.
Despite assessments, we are subjected to continuous rigorous studying. A reduction in workload would be appreciated. The rules are inexplicably strange.
Improvements in cleanliness and overall quality are needed. The current teaching staff is predominantly Indian, and a preference for British teachers is expressed.
Best school! I can see the happiness and confidence in my child. He is really happy to go to school; he likes his teachers so much. Thanks to Miss Kashmala and Miss Nigat from Ahmed Yasir KG1.
I found GEMS WSR to be one of the finest institutes for my children. They joined for KG1, and choosing WSR as their first school is one of the best decisions I made for them. I would highly recommend WSR to anyone looking for the best British curriculum school in RAK.
As a parent, I am satisfied with the teaching methodology the school has opted for, for students by grade. I have also found the school’s teachers to be very supportive, and their passion for student development is commendable.
Another highlight for me is the health and safety measures, which are remarkable. The classrooms are very clean, and the environment is appropriate for students’ well-being.
Overall, I find GEMS WSR to be the best for my children; this is why I give WSR a 5-star rating.
Great place!
Teachers and staff are friendly.
They listen to your issues.
Nursing and doctors are very helpful and supportive.
This is the worst school ever! All the students are badly behaved, from primary to secondary. They even taught my son to behave badly! The teachers do not care. Do not send your children here.
