My sister has been going there since kindergarten. I am 26 by the way. It used to be a great school BUT now everytime I go see her for lunch, I witness a teacher yelling and speaking harshly to a student. Twice my mother has had to speak with the principal about past teachers (2) that would put my sister down for not understanding a subject. There are good teachers here. I used to go here and don’t recall a bad experience but its hard to ignore how nasty they can be to the children. I wish my mom would withdraw her from this school. If you’re still skeptical, make an unplanned visit or have lunch w/ your child. It will be an eye opener!
My son goes here and he is now going to 2nd grade. If I ever had a problem it was worked out. I applaud the principal and teachers for all their hard work especially when dealing with kids that aren’t yours. I loved my son’s teacher Ms. Charland. She stayed on him and it was for the better. She had so much patience more then I could have expected for that I am so grateful. I look for many more years to come with McIntosh.
