I wanted my child to learn a new language, so I searched online for any language that would allow 1 year olds, and I found GASA. I enrolled my child when he turned 1 year at the Brea School in the Parent&Me Class (location now changed to Anaheim Hills). The class is designed for 1-3 year old children. I was there for 5 semesters, then I moved to Long Beach because it is closer to my house and he is almost 4. We are not of German descent nor speak the language, but my son has learned a lot. His current teacher is excellent, and he gets 3 full hours of German every Saturday, and the cost is a bargain. I have positive things to say about the program in general. The staff and parents care and are very involved in the program. The children not only learn the language but also about the culture.
Many children already speak the language, so my son is behind, but this is good for him because the children are speaking German, and he is more exposed to the language as well. I have also bought additional resources like apps, videos, children songs in German only, so he can learn more.
I am very glad I found this program by chance searching online, and I plan to have my child continue with this language.
I highly recommend this program for children. Learning a new language is really a gift for life.
