My son goes to this school, and so far, I can tell the progress he is making on both the language level and in terms of discipline and manners. The small number of students is a huge advantage because it allows teachers to focus on and manage individual differences. Moreover, the school has all the necessary sports facilities.
The worst school ever. Let me begin with the building itself; it’s very bad, with no proper play area for the kids. There are too many improper rules for the children, as if it’s a jail. When I wanted to send my son (who just arrived one year ago to the UAE from a German kindergarten without any previous problems!) here, I wanted him to learn, meet other kids, and combine learning and socializing because HE IS A CHILD. He is six years old. When I first registered him, the management didn’t even assess him; all they cared about was money. They didn’t even ask me about him or if there were any issues with him. After exactly two days, I received an email from “the school director” because my son was apparently too hyperactive. As teachers and supervisors, it is their job to help, teach, and be patient with him. But they decided to terminate him after a week and said we should take him to a psychologist, although my son is normal. Their way of dealing with us as parents was very rude, so we decided to transfer him to another school because even other kids started BULLYING my son. Then, when we found another school for him, they had to ask this school about his behavior, and of course, my son wasn’t good enough for them. It was their idea in the first place to TRANSFER MY SON TO A DIFFERENT SCHOOL. And now they’re giving bad feedback about him. In the end, they took my money even after terminating my son. Now, I will take the matter legally to a higher department. I do NOT recommend this school at all.
Exceptional approach towards the education system! My daughter appeared for her IBDP November exams as an external student. Not only was the IBDP coordinator, Ms. Viktoria, supportive, but even the school staff that I dealt with, be it Ms. Lubna, Ms. Jennie from Finance, or staff from IT, the cafeteria, and transport, were all very cooperative.
Special thanks to Ms. Viktoria for her timely support; she even answered during her vacation, understanding the time-sensitive criteria of IB. Ms. Viktoria provided proper guidance and did the necessary follow-ups for Aditi.
I wish the school and staff great success!
Something close to a nightmare! From teachers who support bullying toward anyone who isn’t German, to the school management who, rather than supporting parents, focused on attacking individuals concerned about the school’s methodology. To top it all off, the school board, whose children all attend the school, only ensure that their kids are looked after!
Today I visited the German school in Sharjah.
I met a lot of nice people.
Mr. and Mrs. Sultan showed me everything. The school offers small classes with motivated teachers, where the children also learn different languages.
The kindergarten next door also does a great job preparing the children for school.
All in all, a great system to prepare children for their future.
Amazing teachers! They are all kind and always help the kids.
In kindergarten, the teachers make a great effort to develop my children’s skills, and I see progress in their German language development.
