Dislike this school for several reasons. Moved to the district from out of town and they were very far behind as far as curriculum for 4th and 5th grade so my child was ahead. Poor communication between teachers and parents. Never knew what was going on in class or school. Weekly folders hardly ever came home as teacher never handed them out. No homework. No spelling or vocabulary was in the curriculum but yet they wanted the students to be able to comprehend what they were reading. Teachers were inappropriate in class, used inappropriate language and talked down on neighborhoods in the community where some of the students happened to live. When we transferred out of the district to a new school my daughter was very far behind where she should have been in the new school.
My children attend this school now. Horrible communication between parents and teachers. Teachers are rude and don’t care. Wish I could take my kids somewhere else. My children’s education is more important than a teacher with an attitude problem!
3 generation of my family have now attended this school. They were quick to stop a learning disability in my self after a month of me attending when other schools didn’t. The staff now is great I’m kept up today on things in the school.
