PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE THINKING OF JOINING THE GIRLS PREP COMMUNITY!! Before i say anything, this school is an all girls school with only one male teacher. We have ELA and math and spanish for the first trimester and art.Our core values are Sisterhood, Scholarship,Merit,and Responsibilty. I am a 7th grader here. I cant say that i hate this school,but i can say that the teachers have high expectations for the girls in this school. The thing i love about my school is that they are so focused on helping us get to high school. They even dedicated a whole period on high school help called “College Knowledge.” The teachers are so focused on helping the girls get to college.] you can have a really close relationship with the teachers and most of them have respect for the students. We have sister circle where we can share our feelings and really connect with each other. We have a great computer lab and a gym. We also have a basketball team led by Coach Christopher and a pep squad team led by Coach Ferraria. Our afterschool activities range from cooking to homework help to acting and film. This school has made some of my best memories. I love this school and im sure youll enjoy it too.
That principal needs to go. She can not run anything she is so hard to communicate With i cant wait to they change her as a parent i have so many issues with certain Situation at the school when i try to speak with her its almost like she wasnt listening my husband even said it like that situation will not be resolved and it wasnt Ive spoken with other parents and they feel the same the teachers are left to act as a Principal and we solve all problems so sad
