I brought my son here for a visit/tour during registration. This went very well, and I expressed concerns about his adjustment to the school he was attending at the time. He started early and was the youngest child in his class, 2y9m, at a free play style program.
The teacher assured me several times this was not a concern, and did ask that I send here his early intervention evaluation. He did not qualify for services, but she wanted to know what it said. Before I could send it, by the next morning she emailed me saying she wanted to be “upfront and honest” and that she could not accommodate him. She even said he should be evaluated again, which he was and still did not qualify for any type of special services.
This was 7 MONTHS before the new school year. That is a LIFETIME at this young age. She was not even willing to give him a chance to grow. He is a completely new kid after finishing his first year of preschool. I have opted to send him to Mayfair, the other school in town and he will do another 2 years there. They have 3 teachers and he does very well with the structured environment.
My sister’s too kind to say this but, due to the negligence of the staff & their refusal to allow my nephew to use his asthma inhaler he was hospitalized for several days. After being released from the hospital he was expelled for being in the hospital.
Definitely wouldn’t recommend here if your child has asthma.
