My daughter currently attends this school. Next year she will be going back to private school. We have had nothing but problems here. Each student at this school has the potential of earning school money, called golden bucks, the children earn this money by doing something good. My daughters second grade teacher charges them 50 cents (school money) to use the restroom. Now, I will be the first to admit that my daughter is an active child, she has ADHD so she does have a harder time then most following direction and staying focused. So for her to FINALLY get this money is a huge deal to her! Only for it to be taken away because she has to do a bodily function. Because my 7 year old is afraid of losing her money she refuses to drink throughout the day so she doesn’t need to go to the restroom during class, she’s also holding in her urine until recess or lunch. Because of this she has missed school, been to the doctors and is now on three different medications for infections caused by this system. Now, I understand wanting to teach children responsibility and the money system is great for that, however, when it comes to using the restroom and children’s health you’re crossing a line. We’ve left several voice mails to the school principal Mrs. Burney, and have never received a phone call back! So today we decided to go speak with her in person. She decided to inform us that my daughter is manipulative and the issues that she’s having are own fault and the school takes no responsibility for the health issues that my daughter is now having and that their policies will not change. I am blown away by this woman! Needless to say my daughter will not be attending this school going forward. We’ve enrolled her in a wonderful private school where each child is treated with respect and not like an animal.

Great school. Shame some parents don’t understand classroom economy and the other great programs this school uses. I would recommend this school to any parents
