I highly recommend Goldfish Sandy Springs based on my experience with an early learner/beginner. My daughter and I began with Mommy & Me infant classes when she was 6 months old, progressed to kids only classes at 14 months, and now she is 3.5 years old. I am proud to say that she recently learned how to “swim”, aka tread water and float a few feet independently. Shout out to Christine the manager who helped her achieve this last week??Personally, I feel that 3 is the average age to be emotionally and physically ready to learn a new skill. Yet the routine of practicing foundational swim skills these past few years is what had her confident, willing, and able to “swim” by age 3.

Goldfish SS is always quick and attentive with customer service by both phone and email. The front desk staff greets you with friendly hellos and goodbyes. Teacher turn over is common, but to be expected. Despite that, we have been lucky enough to have Jayden as our consistent swim instructor for most of our lessons. It says a lot that the manager Christine and assistant manager Ashley have remained since we began. Goldfish has a generous cancellation and makeup policy, which is so important bc kids get sick, families take vacations, etc.

The fact that it’s heated (a must for little kids) and indoors makes it easy to practice, regardless of weather and without worrying about sunblock. They even do an open swim time every day for you and the family to come in and practice.

We had our first experience at Goldfish this past Wednesday and while my 3 year old was initially very scared, Ashley (whom I later found out was the Assistant Manager) went out of her way to help my son feel at ease in the water. Upon walking up to the water he was terrified to let me go, but she quickly showed him how fun the water was and by the end of the class he was kicking his legs and blowing bubbles moving his body towards me in the water. I was shocked and elated that he was able to have such a good first experience based on such a bad first few minutes in the water. He went so far as to tell me in the car “I LOVE IT THERE!” when we were driving home. Ashley went above and beyond and I can’t thank her enough for helping us establish a great start to our weekly visits. Beyond that, this facility is very clean, adorably themed, and had great staff working the front desk. Overall we can’t wait to come back for more classes!
I cannot give another rating than a 5 stars… and if 6 stars was existing I would have given it.
It’s been a while I wanted to give this review as we have been coming here for the last 6 years.
This is above and beyond all expectations. We have 4 kids, all of them went or are still going to Goldfish swim school.
The kindness, professionalism, adaptability of the staff and coaches are amazing.
Christine, the manager, always find a solution to issues with a great smile and always sense of happiness.
My youngest was crying the first time, she find a solution with the right coach, changing things around to accommodate. That is an example out of hundreds.
Thanks again to this place for making my 2 oldest now in swim teams with successes in Georgia.
